Famous and completely unknown. Aged and quite young. They argue and make deals, roar and sing, visit garbage cans and try on shoes, dream, miss and dream. They invite children and adults to a surprising walk through the world of nature and art.

Over 200 works of art and artistic craftsmanship, along with texts written especially for them, make up a unique collection of stories about animals. Images and words create an inseparable whole, which surprises, amuses and touches, and at the same time acquaints readers with the richness and diversity of the Polish artistic heritage.

The book was created as part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.
