Hotel Grandspejszyn is a magical place. Anyone who steps over its creaky threshold and is served by the owners - Łilkinson and Ella - with a glass of barberry juice, will feel at home. And maybe he will want to stay forever ...

The residents of the hotel are also remarkable: the inventor Mo, who ties her long ears on top of her head, the slightly nervous Mr. Libling, the shy cat Jersi and the little ballerina Ajmi. Everyone is free to do whatever they like: paint crow's feet on white teapots, sit on the porch and look into the distance, go on seemingly pointless mountain hikes ... or just keep their affairs completely secret. But nothing lasts forever. One morning, the peace of hotel guests is disturbed by the arrival of Mr. Bear: the proud astronomer and great-grandson of Lord Berlington. He claims that the entire Green Valley is in danger of extinction. How exactly - it is not known. Whether it can be prevented - it is hardly known, but you have to try! It seems that the fate of the world has suddenly found itself in very little hands ...

The Grandspejszyn Hotel really existed! It was in my daughter's room on three levels of the cupboard above the dresser. Hania filled the shelves with lots of tiny pieces of furniture and animals. Mr. Bear had a big suitcase, and the Jersi cat was the smallest and most charming of all ... As soon as I started writing, I asked Hania: "Will you help me make up stories?". And she replied, "Mom, I don't have to make anything up. I'll just tell you what's going on there."
