The novels about Plastuś - a plasticine hero living in a pencil case of seven-year-old Tosia - have been the beloved first reading of children who begin to read independently for generations. The novels are a diary. In them, Plastuś tells about the numerous adventures that meet him at school, at home and on holiday trips. Together with a pencil, an eraser, a penknife and other inhabitants of the pencil case, Plastuś actively participates in the troubles and misfortunes of his guardian Tosia, always standing on the side of friendship, helping the weak and cheerful. Both novels included in this volume were "written" by Plastuś in a beautiful and, at the same time, extremely accessible to children starting to read in language.
