When washing wool, silk or other delicate fabrics, you need an extremely gentle detergent that uses surfactants and not enzymes as the active ingredients. Enzymes are especially designed to break down and dissolve protein dirt (organic stains, food, sweat, makeup, etc.). Wool and silk are natural materials and consist only of protein. So when washing with enzymes, a few washes are enough to damage the structure of the garment. Thanks to the lanolin content, these fabrics remain in great condition.
