The cult, high-quality solar lamp is a convenient and ecological source of portable light powered by solar energy. Designed by the artist Olafur Eliasson, it is perfect for evening walks (it will ensure safety when hung on a pram or hung around the neck), trips to the forest, camping, festivals, all kinds of trips and to brighten up a house, garden or balcony, or simply as a light while playing with blankets or reading a book in the evening.
Children love Little Sun - either as a bedside lamp or for play - making it a great tool for teaching about sustainability and energy conservation.
The lamp is equipped with a dimmer, you can easily adjust its brightness. Five hours of charge in the sun gives you over 50 hours of light at the darkest setting or four hours at the brightest setting.
The lamp is equipped with a comfortable lanyard with an adjustment that can be used to hang it around the neck or wherever we need light.

Apart from the unusual functionality of Little Sun lamps, the most important thing is that they were created from the need to bring good and change the world for the better.
The authors of the Little Sun project wanted to ensure universal access to free solar energy and light in areas where people, children and adolescents do not have access to electricity on a daily basis.
Little Sun - a small, portable solar lamp - that was first distributed to people living without electricity in Ethiopia. The lamp is a practical tool that allows students to study after dark, mothers better care for children at night, and families to reduce the effects of toxic fumes from fuel. The lamp has also become an icon of the future of renewable energy that is crucial to humanity and the natural world.
Today, Little Sun is working with communities that live without electricity to test and implement ways to use solar energy in sub-Saharan Africa.
