Vallée de Farney is a nature reserve located in the native forests of the island of Mauritius. The forest is home to over 100 species of plants and many animals, and Louis Marie discovered many new plant specimens. Inspired by a wild forest, this fragrance is a woody, mineral scent. The top note is a citrus accord of grapefruit, orange and black pepper enhanced with cedarwood and patchouli.

Maison Louis Marie is the result of a long, rich family history of fragrances, starting with Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars: a pioneer of French botanical history who was exiled to Madagascar, La Réunion and the islands of Mauritius during the French Revolution. There he discovered a wide variety of plant specimens, collected more than 2,000, and was subsequently elected a member of the prestigious Académie des Sciences - the engravings and sketches visible on fragrance packaging come from his journals.

More than 200 years later, Maison Louis Marie was born: drawing on her family's rich botanical history as inspiration and guide, Marie created luxury candles, perfumes and skincare products that focus on exquisite, long-lasting fragrances infused with unique floral essences. Created in harmony with the environment and nature in Los Angeles.
