Little Agnes was born in Skopje, Macedonia, the youngest of three siblings. She had known since childhood that she wanted to devote her life to religion. She was fascinated by the stories of missionaries helping people - and she wanted to do the same. Upon entering the order, she took the name Teresa. Then she went to India, where she founded a congregation of missionaries of love. The sisters looked after anyone who needed help. Known as Mother Teresa of Calcutta, she has run nursing homes for the poor, sick and orphans around the world for over 45 years. It is a story about a woman whose mission was to serve others, a Nobel Peace Prize winner and a holy Catholic Church.
