Karolcia

The book tells about the adventures of eight-year-old Karolcia and her peer and friend Piotr. Karolcia finds a miraculous bead that has the magical quality of fulfilling the girl's every wish. When Karolcia and Piotr discover the magical effect of the enchanted bead, they decide that they will use it to help others, make the world better, and also ... to make their wildest dreams come true. But reality will surprise them quickly. By rashly uttering completely ill-considered wishes, Karolcia provokes numerous troublesome situations - comic ones, and dangerous ones, ones that are very difficult to get out of. In addition, the enchanting bead attracts a dangerous intruder - the crafty and ingenious witch Filomena. It will not be easy for children to cope with her ambushes.

The exciting, often fun adventures of Karolcia and Piotr will provide children not only with entertainment. For the heroes of the novel - and also for the readers, the adventures of a magic bead become a real life lesson; they teach them to be responsible for decisions and actions, as well as the art of planning and predicting the effects of their own actions.
