Ilustrowany inwentarz drzew

Illustrated inventory of trees contains descriptions and images of 57 trees and shrubs from around the world.

Emmanuelle Tchoukriel, an illustrator specializing in drawing science, portrayed plants with precision and artistry worthy of naturalists of the past centuries. She recreated silhouettes, leaves and bark, sometimes also flowers and fruits of selected trees and shrubs, as well as animals living in their close surroundings.

She made the black contours of the drawings with a rapidograph and Chinese ink. For coloring, she used watercolors, which when applied with varying intensity, wonderfully reflect the richness of shades and textures found in nature.

Each figure has a Polish and Latin name and a few interesting facts about the tree or shrub.

We encourage you to find the presented trees in forests, parks, botanical gardens or arboretums. We are convinced that it will be a fascinating activity!
