For optimal results, remove the cork from the bottle and place the reeds in the bottle on a flat and stable surface. The diffuser will release the exquisite scent of Bois de Balincourt for approximately 3 months. To enhance the scent from time to time, simply turn the wreaths over.

This romantic fragrance is the scent of sandalwood with a dominant chord of cedarwood and sandalwood, complemented by a spicy complex of cinnamon, nutmeg and an earthy note of vetiver.

Maison Louis Marie is the result of a long, rich family history in fragrance, starting with Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars: a pioneer of French botanical history who was exiled to Madagascar, La Réunion and the islands of Mauritius during the French Revolution. There he discovered a wide range of plant specimens, collected over 2,000, and was then elected a member of the prestigious Académie des Sciences - the engravings and sketches visible on the fragrance packaging come from his journals.
