If your washing machine has a delicate wool programme, this will be preferable to hand washing. The washing machines maintain a stable temperature, the clothes do not get wet, and the very light spinning in the washing cycle helps to remove excess water. All of this provides a gentler and more consistent way to clean clothes than by hand. For woolen fabrics, we recommend a delicate wool wash program at 30 degrees, and for cotton products at a maximum of 40 degrees.

Avoid placing any HOLMM products. in the dryer. High temperatures, coming from a dryer or even an iron, will destroy the natural properties of the fibers and ruin the clothes ahead of time. For best results, simply allow your garment to air dry.
