DESCRIPTION

Sebra Bed - a bed that grows with the child from birth to school age.

Your baby needs sleep to develop and grow. Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. grows and develops with your baby. It is a bed for generations that can be passed on - from child to child, from family to family. A piece of the history of Danish design and a safe folding bed for babies and children.

The bed is designed for max. 15 kg in the upper position and 80 kg in the lower position.

Your choice matters as the bed can be used through several stages of childhood and can be donated if you take good care of it. This way you help save valuable resources.

You protect nature and the environment, thus taking care of the Earth's resources and the climate of the future - because a large part of the wood comes from certified forests and because no substances that can deplete the ozone layer have been used.

Sebra owns the copyrights to the JUNO bed, which was designed by Viggo Einfeldt in 1942-43. The JUNO bed and the Viggo Einfeldt are listed in the "children's culture" category in the Danish Cultural Canon, which is the essence of Danish cultural heritage.

Cot for newborns, infants, toddlers and juniors

Stage 1 - This stage is suitable for the infant.

The raised base of the cot makes it easier to lift the baby from the cot and place it in the cot. IMPORTANT! The lowest basic setting is always the safest. As soon as your child starts to sit up on his own, lower the mattress.

Stage 2 - This stage is suitable for a child who is beginning to show signs of being able to sit or crawl.

The lowered base and the characteristic openwork sides and headrests of the cot ensure the safety of your child in the first year of life and prevent the child from rolling when he starts to move, sit or stand up straight. The slats of the crib have been trimmed at the bottom to form a slope which means your baby cannot lean back and climb over the edge of the crib

IMPORTANT! The support beams must be removed before using the bed in its lowest position. The side rails should be removed as soon as the child is able to crawl out of bed by himself. Many parents will want to keep the sides off the slats longer because removing them also means less control. However, for safety reasons, take them off when your child is able to get out.

Stage 3 - This stage is suitable for a child who shows signs of wanting to climb or is old enough to crawl / get out of bed by himself.

One day your child will be able and willing to do things on his own and hopefully you will enjoy the patter of tiny feet in the morning (not in the middle of the night) when, for safety reasons, you have removed one or both sides of the rungs. By the age of two and a half, many babies begin to signal that they don't want to be in the "crib" anymore - some do it sooner and some later. It is important to look for these signs so that you can remove the sides before your child tries to do it himself.

Stage 4 - This stage is suitable for a child who has reached a certain height and needs more space. The duration of this stage depends on the child's height and sleep. Many parents enlarge the crib to the Junior size when the child is 3-4 years old.

REMEMBER: When you change your baby's bed environment, in some cases this may mean that your baby will need more support at bedtime and at night for a while. Sleep problems are natural but do not always happen - as a parent, you should be mentally prepared for them and help ensure a safe bedtime routine and rituals.
