Basia i śmieci

This time little Basia is facing a great problem of littering the environment. ''Have you ever thought you were a whale?'' Basia asks her mother. This perverse question is the beginning of a conversation about ecology and the dirty side of the modern world. ''Because whales cannot eat handbags,'' Basia rightly observes. The girl discovers that the world around her is not so pink and we are all behind our ears. We use plastic bags, plastic packaging and straws. In short, we are littering.

Basia opens the eyes of young readers to one of the most serious challenges in today's world: environmental pollution . Together with Basia, we learn: - what is ecology, - how people pollute the environment, - how our actions affect nature, - what we can do to change our habits.
