The Danish brand Rice was founded by Charlotte and Philippe Guéniau, who, while having lunch in the French countryside, came up with the idea to sell several colorful, unusual products in Copenhagen. One of these first items was a raffia bag produced in Madagascar.

It was then that they actually created the Rice company, offering its customers fun, colorful and functional accessories for the home, kitchen and children's room to bring a breath of joy to everyday life.
