What is more beneficial for the baby: breastfeeding or bottle feeding? Breast milk contains all the nutrients and microelements that a newborn needs. Its unique composition not only supports the proper development of the child, but also stimulates its immune system, thus protecting it against various diseases and infections. It is therefore no wonder that WHO (World Health Organization) recommends breastfeeding your baby naturally for at least 6 months.
Although it cannot be denied that breastfeeding is beneficial for the baby, you absolutely should not feel pressured if for some reason you give up on it and decide to bottle-feed your newborn. Choose the method of feeding your baby that will work best for you. The bottle may also be useful if you are breastfeeding, but e.g. you want to involve the baby's father in feeding or you choose KPI - i.e. feeding with a bottle with with your expressed milk.
